fatal shooting at 2nd & Hill Streets

Jerry Miles, 56, of the 3100 block of Third Avenue, was fatally shot just before midnight last night at 3rd and Hill Streets. Richmond Police are looking for Verdon Taylor, described as 5 feet, six inches tall, 166 pounds., and with a shaved head. [via]

    A man has been arrested in the shooting death of his father. Jermaine Gregory is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Jerry Miles.

    Richmond police say Miles and Gregory were in a car together when Gregory tried to shoot someone standing outside the car. They say Miles was accidentally struck and killed.
