four teens arrested for recent robberies
Richmond Police arrested three 16-year-old males and one 15-year-old male for robbery in connection with several incidentsin the Carver, Jackson Ward, and Gilpin Court neighborhoods Thursday night and earlier this week.
The teenagers were arrested following a robbery attempt near Leigh Street. Officers patrolling the area for a report of an earlier robbery quickly apprehended the suspects late Thursday evening.
“Excellent suspect descriptions and police work made these quick arrests possible,†said Fourth Precinct Commander John Hall. “Unfortunately, instead of preparing for the upcoming school year, these young men turned to robbery.â€
