Style Weekly turns their great lidless eye to Adams Street’s most garish music&art space, The Church Of Crystal Light:
Richmond has a long history of house shows, those venerable old homes rented to the young and music-savvy, who open their doors to traveling bands and the audiences who come to see them. These places are often passed down through generations of renters, and this is in fact how the Church of Crystal Light began.

the end of the experiment
I started this site just over a year ago to see if a community news blog could take for the area. I think that it has worked well and still has even greater potential, but I’m not the person for this anymore.
