Second Arrest in Broad Street Robbery

Richmond Police made a second arrest yesterday in the daytime robbery of an elderly man on Broad Street about two weeks ago.

The suspect is a juvenile and is being held in juvenile detention. His name and photo will not be released because of his age.

The juvenile suspect and Trevelle Alexander Winn, who was arrested April 23, are charged with robbery and aggravated assault.

Around 3:45 p.m. April 15 a 70-year-old male was walking in the 100 block of East Broad Street when he was approached from behind by two suspects. The suspects pushed the victim to the ground, struck him in the head and took his wallet.

It’s nice to see the police make arrests in these small robbery cases. Too bad there’s an endless supply of these delinquents coming out of Gilpin Ct.
