2nd Street Festival 2009

The 2nd Street Festival 2009 will be held Noon to 10 p.m. Oct. 3 and Noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, on 2nd Street in Jackson Ward. Admission is free!

The hands of time are turned back to the past when 2nd Street was the heart and soul of Richmond’s African-American community. Each year thousands of people come to Richmond’s historic Jackson Ward to hear live music on four stages, enjoy children’s activities, taste delicious food, shop in the authentic marketplace, dance in the streets and renew old friendships. Produced by Venture Richmond.

For more information, please call (804) 788-6466.

The closest that exists would be the Venture Richmond site at http://www.venturerichmond.com/

All of our 2nd Street info is available all together here: http://cjwn.net/news/tag/2nd-street-festival/
