Interested in helping out?

We know that this site isn’t as good as it could be or should be. CJWN, right now, is a community blog that is published by people that do not live in the community. WE DESPERATELY NEED someone whose daily adventure puts them in direct living contact with the details of the area to step up and help contribute to the site.

Interested in contributing or finding out more? Post a comment below and we can work on making this happen.

It’s sad that this historic neighborhood does not have more voice. Good luck.

I’m interested- I live in the Ward and ride through Carver every day. Let me know what I can do.

I am currently researching some of Jackson Ward’s history, and my focus is on the Catholic institutions that existed on the block bound by N 1st, Jackson, and Duval Streets.

I can produce a summary of my research findings and submit photos of the current state of Jackson Ward structures.

I would love to take and submit random photos of the 2009 2nd Street Festival activities.

I am a 24 year old student, and I grew up and live in Henrico County. But Richmond is my home! I was born at VCU Medical Center and my church is in the heart of Jackson Ward. For that reason, I am compelled to get involved in this community.

Please email me at wcrobinson1985@gmail.com and/or wrobinson8471@email.vccs.edu if I can be used to help this community.

I will start a new blog soon.

    Walter R.
