When he pulled over, rolled down the passenger window and asked them if they needed a cab, one of them told him to pull around the corner and off of Broad. The cabbie refused, and one of the males put a handgun through the open window and pointed it at him. The cabbie told detectives he slapped at the gun and it fell onto the front seat, so he quickly drove from the scene and called police.

Moped stolen on Marshall Street
Craigslist has word on a moped stolen from Marshall Street:
Sometime within the past 48 hours, my 1980 Minarelli Concord Freedom was stolen from the back of my apartment complex at 1011 West Marshall Street in Carver behind the VCU Arts building. It was held to the back fence by a 5/16″ chain and padlock that are also missing, so someone most likely cut the chain. Its blue, has one mirror on the left hand side, the speedometer doesn’t work, and it has the word “TESTI” in white font on the back of the seat. If you see or hear of anything, please contact me or the police. A report has been filed. I’m offering a $50-$100 reward to anyone with helpful information.
